Become known as the top coach in your gym that clients are on a waiting list to work with.

The Aim of this Professional Development.

Develop a thorough understanding of the most commonly encountered barbell lifts Squat, Shoulder Press, Deadlift and Bench Press.

Deepen your knowledge of the anatomy of the barbell lifts.
Understand how to adjust barbell lifts when clients have any discomfort or different body shapes.

Become an effective coach, who can spot and fix form errors in these exercises fast and efficiently.

Learn how to optimise a programme for your clients that drastically improves their capability and fits within their lifestyle.

Who is this for?

You’re currently working with clients on the gym floor, but recognise that the Personal Trainer path so far has been somewhat lacking in instruction of real time coaching and practice of coaching barbell lifts.

If you’ve found yourself unsure of teaching barbell exercises for safety reasons, or if you’d like to be more confident in coaching the most common and useful barbell lifts such as Squat, Shoulder Press, Deadlift and Bench Press then this training is ideal for you.

Gone will be the days when you are stuck just counting out reps, hoping a client is on board. NOW you will be able to identify a lifting correction, and in real-time cue your client precisely during sets and reps. They’ll move efficiently, safely and make the best progress doing so.

You are looking for clients who want to work with the best trainer, not the cheapest. Your clients are seeking to be more confident with weights, and transform their gym experience as well as their own body.

How This Works

This is an online service.
We arrange a convenient time to speak on a video call.
We will spend 1-1.5hrs discussing the relevant aspects to your business, of online personal training.

Your investment is per consultation with me, and aims to answer your questions directly at an affordable price to you versus some of the many Personal Trainer “marketing programmes” out there that require very large commitment by you with massive upfront costs.

1. I  show you my current systems, behind-the-scenes as needed, to show you what I'm currently doing and how I do it. This will enable you to see if this model can be directly applied to the kind of client you'd like to work with, or if you can adjust what you're currently doing.

2. We also discuss ways that I currently liaise with my clients regards feedback and correspondence throughout the week, and how I sometimes do this in different ways and why I do this in different ways, and then discuss the one that would be the most useful for you to use.

3. I'll present ideas on pricing options and different products that you could offer for the online type of coaching.

4. Opening up to increase the number of clients you have that you serve remotely (online). We will get creative with ideas and seeking out opportunities that you may not have tapped yet to increase these numbers as well as covering the normal routes for finding clients.

I'll tell you exactly what I've been doing that's been working for me, rather than speak marketing babble at you… ** Remember** I am a professional strength coach first and foremost and still actively coach 1:1 in gyms, and online and around the world where I lecture and coach lifting workshops.

Getting Into the Industry or Having a Career Change?

You’re thinking of moving into Personal Training (career change) but unsure if this will work for you, or you’re just starting out and wondering if becoming a professional in the gym industry is the right direction.

PT courses can cost anywhere approaching £1000 up to £3000, before you commit a large amount of money why not do a deep dive on all the questions you need to know before making a commitment like that?

I myself, did a career change in my mid 30s. I managed to go from one successful career into a completely unknown career within personal training before specialising as a strength coach in the work I now do.

I'll be on hand to answer your questions about the reality of becoming a personal trainer, whether or not being a generalist or a specialist is more useful to you. Whether or not you should pursue training people online or in the gym. And ultimately whether or not this career choice will be what you're imagining or whether the reality might be quite different.

We can examine the different types of approach to becoming a gym structure and personal trainer and identify which would be the best fit for you.

We can discuss the practicalities of being a self-employed person or an employee at a larger facility and all the pros and cons, including how to do marketing, meet your first clients, and the admin tasks that we all want to be streamlined, but have to be attended to as well for running a business.
